Meet Our Team

  • Kathie Gerrity, D.V.M.

    Dr. Gerrity is a 1979 graduate of the University of Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She did a 14 month internship at Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital, and spent 5 years as Chief of Staff at the United Emergency Animal Clinic in Campbell before purchasing the Boulder Creek Veterinary Clinic in 1985. Dr. Gerrity's areas of special interest and expertise are dermatology and trauma medicine, supported by years of experience and intensive continuing education. Voted one of America's Top Veterinarians in 2007, she divides her free time between her family: her 6 dogs, 5 cats.. She also enjoys water-skiing and donating her services to an animal sanctuary in Rosarito, Mexico.

  • Angie Smith, R.V.T.

    Angie was born and raised in the San Lorenzo Valley, and now resides in Boulder Creek. She joined the Boulder Creek Veterinary Clinic in 2001 and currently works full time. She is in charge of ordering and managing hospital supplies, in addition to her regular nursing responsibilities. Angie is a board-certified Registered Veterinary Technician by the State of California. She has also completed several continuing education seminars and courses in various subjects in veterinary medicine. When Angie is not at the clinic, she enjoys photography, billiards, and spending time outdoors with her family.

    Dominique is new to Boulder Creek Veterinary Clinic and new to the Santa Cruz Mountains in general. Dominique has been working in the veterinary field for over ten years and enjoys working with not only the patients but the clients! She has made many special bonds with her clients and their pets in the past and looks forward to contributing to the well being of animals each day at Boulder Creek Veterinary Clinic. When she's not working, Dominique relaxes by playing in the garden with her 8 chickens and spending time with her family & husband. She is enjoying the woods and feels like she is camping everyday!

  • Alison Soria
    Kennel Assistant

    Alison is the 'top dog' in our boarding facility. Her love of animals and attention to detail create a comfortable environment for our boarding pets while their parents are away! Alison has a unique bond with each boarding animal and often helps the veterinary assistants with patients when needed! Alison also has a small zoo at her own home, 3 dogs (Gizmo/Wrecks/Skeeter) & 2 cats (Grimms/Maverick), also 1 husband named Sean!! In her free time, you will find Alison spending quality time with her pack going on walks and being outdoors!
